If only we could be given more time, right?
Especially at the end of the year where we are running around to holiday events, finishing up last minute shopping, and creating those picture perfect moments.
As our last monthly workout for the year, where everyone is trying to suck the last minutes out of each day, I’ve combined our monthly workout as the 3 Exercises Workout that is provided each month.
This is also a great workout if you are one of the many who have joined the 25 Days of Christmas Workout Challenge. You may run into a day that you can’t get that 30-minute workout in as prescribed in the 25 Day Challenge, in that case you could substitute this one – but don’t make it a habit!
Finding shortcuts isn’t always the best solution. Having an option to be a little more efficient, and help you get a little time back every now and then is always a win.

Key elements of the 3 Exercises Workouts
- These are exercises that use multiple muscles at one time, called complex exercises. This helps you get the most out of your strength training session.
- These exercises elevate your heart rate quickly, in a short amount of time, or even increase and decrease it throughout the time you complete the workout. This taps into that cardio burn and maximizes the calorie burn.

What’s coming in 2021
Going into 2021, the monthly workout challenge format is going to change.
Each month we will focus on a “trouble spot”. This will be different from other workout challenges that you’ve probably seen on other platforms, where the same exercises are used and the reps increase over several days, with little to no rest and potentially leading to unsafe overuse. The Hint of Happy format will focus on the muscle or area by using different exercises to activate it, stabilize it, and support it.
The 3 Exercises workouts will continue each month in 2021, unless there is a Holiday Edition workout featured.
