Hi there!
I’m the founder of Hint of Happy. My fitness journey really took off in high school. Our summer weights coach was willing to let me tag along with the boys (at the time girls lifting wasn’t as common as it is now) and when I proved I could “hang” no one even blinked an eye at me participating every morning in workouts.
Throughout college I continued to focus on a healthy lifestyle. I majored in Kinesiology and became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
Exercising to “look good” was much of how my passion started out. It became especially important when I worked for Hooters of America for several years, as a Hooters Girl and then in their training department.
As I got older, I realized that exercise and eating healthy did more for me than make me look good, it became therapy.
I started Hint of Happy as a way to share my knowledge of exercise and healthy eating to help others feel and see the happiness that can come through self-care and well-being of a healthy lifestyle, with realistic methods.
